Venue Notes
Classes take place in our main circus hall and there is free parking at the venue.

Specialised funambulism workshop.

Step onto the wire and discover the art of funambulism — tightwire walking with a balancing pole. This unique workshop combines physical skill with mindfulness, helping you build focus, confidence and resilience as you learn to trust your balance and yourself.

You’ll learn the fundamentals of posture, balance and controlled movement, with the opportunity to progress to higher wires at your own pace. Challenging, rewarding and deeply empowering.

Led by Naomhan Joyce, a Galway-based circus artist and educator who began his journey at Galway Community Circus at 16 and has over 15 years of professional experience. Naomhan specialises in aerial and funambulism and has trained across Europe, including as a lead tutor on our international funambulism project, Lifeline.
